The Ministry of External Affairs made a significant statement regarding USAID

Rat has responded to revelations made by the U.S. administration regarding certain activities and funding,
including former U.S. President Donald Trump’s claim that USAID provided $21 million to influence India’s elections.
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has termed the issue as “extremely disturbing” and is examining its potential implications.
MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said on Friday, “We have seen the information provided by the U.S. administration regarding certain U.S. activities and funding.
It is clearly very concerning. This has raised concerns about foreign interference in India’s internal matters.”
Agencies are investigating the matter.
He stated that the concerned department and agencies are investigating the matter.
Jaiswal said, “It would be premature to comment publicly at this time, so the relevant authorities are investigating, and we hope to provide an update later.”
Trump’s remarks have sparked political reactions in India, with opposition leaders demanding clarity on the nature of U.S. involvement.
The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) has yet to issue an official statement on this claim.
