On Monday, May 26, 2025, an all-party parliamentary delegation led by BJP MP Baijayant Jay Panda met with Kuwait’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Sherida A.S. Al-Maosherji.
The delegation briefed Al-Maosherji on India’s recent actions to counter cross-border terrorism emanating from Pakistan.
This delegation is one of seven multi-party groups assigned by India to visit 33 global capitals and communicate its stance on Pakistan’s conspiracies and terrorism.
In a post on the social media platform X, Panda wrote, “India and Kuwait stand united in their shared commitment against terrorism.

Earlier, the delegation visited Bahrain, where they briefed Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa about the cross-border terrorism threat India faces and New Delhi’s firm resolve to counter it.
In Bahrain, the delegation also met with Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council (Upper House of Parliament),
to discuss counterterrorism cooperation and strengthening bilateral relations.
As part of India’s diplomatic outreach, the seven delegations are visiting 33 global capitals to present India’s stance on terrorism and Pakistan’s intentions,
particularly in the wake of the April 22 terrorist attack in Pahalgam.
Following the attack, which killed 26 people, India launched precision strikes on terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) on the night of May 6.
In retaliation, Pakistan attempted attacks on Indian military installations on May 8, 9, and 10.
India strongly responded to Pakistan’s actions. On May 10, the Directors General of Military Operations of both countries held talks and agreed to de-escalate the military conflict.
