In a powerful and coordinated response, the Indian Army, Air Force, and Navy successfully targeted and destroyed nine terrorist camps located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) under Operation Sindoor.

colleges, and educational institutions in the districts of Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Rajouri, and Poonch for the day.

Operation Sindoor was launched as a direct response to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, J&K.

On the night of May 6–7, 2025, the Indian Air Force conducted airstrikes on nine terrorist camps in Pakistan and PoK. All participating pilots and soldiers returned safely.

Pakistan Confirms 24 Indian Strikes

Pakistan’s military spokesperson, DG ISPR Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, confirmed in a press conference that India carried out 24 precision strikes using a variety of advanced weapons systems.

Targets Inside Pakistan and PoK

Out of the nine main targets, four were located inside Pakistan, and five were in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

Strikes were confirmed in Bahawalpur, Muridke, and Sialkot. India employed loitering munitions and precision-guided weapons for maximum impact.

Bahawalpur’s Jaish-e-Mohammed Base Targeted: Four strikes were carried out near Subhan Masjid in Ahmedpur East, Bahawalpur—considered a major hub of Jaish-e-Mohammed and its leader Masood Azhar.

Terror Camps Hit: Strikes were conducted on locations like Bilal Masjid and Subhan Masjid in Muzaffarabad, which have known links to terrorist activities. At least eight terrorists were reportedly killed.

Widespread Impact: Confirmed strikes in areas including Sialkot, Muridke, Kotli Lohara, Shakargarh, and Kotli have sparked panic in Pakistan.
