June 6, 2025 – Union Minister Nitin Gadkari issued a grave warning on Sunday, stating that the ongoing conflicts between Russia-Ukraine and Israel-Iran are creating an environment ripe for a global war.

He cautioned that if current trends continue, a World War could erupt at any moment.

Speaking at the launch event of the book “Beyond Borders” in Nagpur, Gadkari said,

“The atmosphere across the world is tense. Conflicts are escalating, and the situation is such that a world war is no longer a distant threat.”

He emphasized that the dictatorship and arrogance of global superpowers are eroding values like coordination, mutual harmony, and love, pushing the world closer to chaos.

Warfare Has Changed: Missiles and Drones Over Tanks and Planes

Highlighting the transformation in war tactics, Gadkari noted that traditional battle strategies are now obsolete.

“The nature of war has changed. Tanks and fighter planes are becoming less relevant, while missiles and drones are now the dominant weapons,” he said.

He raised concerns about modern weapons targeting civilian areas, stating that this shift has made it increasingly difficult to protect innocent lives.

Gadkari called this a global humanitarian crisis that needs urgent international discussion and policy response.

India, the Land of Peace and Non-Violence

During his address, Gadkari also praised India’s cultural and spiritual heritage, calling it the land of Buddha, which has always promoted truth, peace, and non-violence.

“India has always guided the world with the messages of truth and non-violence. At a time when the global environment is becoming unstable,

it is vital for us to reflect and form a future policy after reviewing these international events,” he said.

“The World Is Slowly Moving Toward Destruction”

Gadkari didn’t hold back while describing the deeper implications of current geopolitics.

“It may sound harsh, but we are heading towards destruction.

The unilateralism and authoritarianism of superpowers are destroying the harmony essential for peaceful co-existence.”

He reiterated the need for a global dialogue, suggesting that without collective introspection and action, the world could face unprecedented devastation.

Nitin Gadkari’s remarks serve as a critical reminder that modern warfare, global power struggles, and a lack of diplomatic consensus could spell disaster for humanity.

His call for international cooperation and a return to moral values isn’t just a political statement—it’s a warning the world needs to heed.
