“I am the richest person in the world, as my life’s account is filled with the blessings of millions of mothers and sisters,” said PM Modi in Gujarat.

On the occasion of Women’s Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi (Narendra Modi) visited Navsari in Gujarat, where he addressed the women.
PNarendra Modi said, “Today is a day to draw inspiration and learn from women.
On this day, I can proudly say that I am the richest person in the world because my life’s account is filled with the blessings of millions of mothers and sisters, and this continues to grow.”
The Prime Minister further stated, “In our scriptures, women are referred to as ‘Narayani.’ Respecting women is the first step towards the development of society and the nation.
Therefore, to build a developed India, and for the rapid development of India, the country is now moving towards women’s land development.”
‘Increased the respect of millions of women…’
Narendra Modi said, “Since 2014, around 30 million women have become homeowners.
Today, the whole world is talking about the Jal Jeevan Mission. Through this mission, water is reaching every village in the country.”
He further added that his government prioritizes both dignity and convenience for women. “We increased the respect of millions of women by building toilets for them.”
PM Modi added, “We linked millions of women to the banking system by opening bank accounts, saved them from the hardship of smoke by providing Ujjwala gas cylinders.
Our government saved the lives of millions of Muslim sisters by enacting a strict law against triple talaq.
When Article 370 was in force in Kashmir, the women there were deprived of many rights.
If they married someone from outside the state, they lost their right to ancestral property.”
He further said that after the removal of Article 370, women in Jammu and Kashmir now enjoy the same rights as daughters and sisters across India.
‘Only after 2014…’
Narendra Modi said, “Whether it’s the field of politics, sports, judiciary, or police, women are excelling in every sector of the country. Since 2014, women’s participation in important positions has increased significantly.
After 2014, the highest number of women ministers were appointed in the central government. There has also been a significant increase in the presence of women in Parliament.
In the 18th Lok Sabha, 74 women MPs are part of the house. Women’s participation in the judiciary has also grown.”
He mentioned that in many states, more than fifty percent of the newly recruited civil judges are women.
“Today, India has the third-largest startup ecosystem in the world, and women investors play a vital role in it.”
PM Modi concluded, “Mahatma Gandhi used to say that the soul of the country resides in rural India.
Today, I add another line to that: the soul of rural India resides in the empowerment of rural women.
That is why our government has given high priority to women’s rights and new opportunities for women.

Modi stressed that the removal of Article 370 brought equal rights to women in Jammu and Kashmir,
